In accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1993, Council has prepared its Code of Meeting Practice under section 360 of the Local Government Act 1993 (the Act) and the Local Government (General) Regulation 2005 (the Regulation).

Before adopting a new code of meeting practice, under section 361 of the Act, council is required to exhibit a draft of the code of meeting practice for at least 28 days and provide members of the community at least 42 days in which to comment on the draft code.

This document is now on display for public comment for a period of 28 days. Copies can be viewed at Council’s Office, 84 Parkes Street Temora, during business hours or via this link(PDF, 1MB).

Submissions addressed to the undersigned will be received until 12pm Thursday 5 August 2019 and should be marked ‘Submission – Code of Meeting Practice.

Council will consider any submissions at its meeting to be held on Thursday 22 August 2019.
