Planned Works

Mulga Street, Mallee Street and Wilga Street, Barellan, Tuesday 16th April 2024

There will be a planned outage on Tuesday 16th April 2024 for customers located on Mulga, Mallee and Wilga Streets Barellan between 8am - 4pm whilst essential water works are completed to allow the sewer construction to continue.

These works were originally scheduled for Saturday 13th April but were postponed.  All affected customers were verbally notified by the contractor.

Cowabbie St (between Mann and Douglas Street) Coolamon, Wednesday 17th April 2024

There will be a planned outage on Wednesday 17th April 2024 for customers and businesses located on Cowabbie Street (between Mann and Douglas Street) between 7.30pm and 9.30pm whilst Goldenfields Water perform essential water supply upgrades.

We will be undertaking these works during after hours to minimise the impact on customers and businesses in the area.

All affected customers will received a hand delivered notification on Wednesday 10th April.

Barellan Township, Wednesday 17th April 2024

There will be a planned outage on Wednesday 17th April 2024 for the township of Barellan between 8am and 4pm whilst Goldenfields Water staff renew the main trunk that feeds the town from the townships reservoirs, to accommodate the sewer upgrades that are currently taking place. 

Notices are being hand delivered to customers on the 9th and 10th April.

 

What you need to do during planned water works

- Store enough water for your needs, keep all taps closed and refrain from flushing toilets during the outage

- When water supply is restored, you may temporarily experience discoloured water.  Check your water quality and run the tap closest to the water meter for a few minutes before drinking or washing laundry. If discoloured water is detected, continue to run your tap until the water clears. If the water doesn’t clear, notify us immediately.
