Increase in traffic control and road conditions until major water work

Goldenfields Water advises local residents and drivers to expect minor disruptions to traffic over the coming months as pipeline construction for the West Wyalong Water Pressure Project will begin to approach the township’s Main St and residential areas. Residents can expect these disruptions to include road conditions and traffic control.

Goldenfields Water County Council advises customers that the level 5 water restrictions which came into effect on the 22nd November 2022 will continue to be imposed for all customers located on the Daylight scheme (including Tallimba, Weethalle, Naradhan and surrounding areas) for the foreseeable future.

Tallimba, Weethalle, Naradhan & Surrounds Emergency Water Restriction

All Weethalle, Tallimba and Naradhan areas must immediately cut water usage to less than 100 litres per person per day. Emergency restrictions are in place due to the Lachlan River Flooding cutting water supply.
As at Friday 25 November water may run out by Friday 1 December unless water use is cut immediately.

Rosehill to Harden Water Main Renewal Complete

Goldenfields Water have completed the replacement of 11kms of water main between Rosehill and Harden, with the assistance of contractors TCM Civil Pty Ltd.

The project first began in February 2021, planned over two stages. Unfortunately, inclement weather delayed works that were expected for completion November 2021.
