All businesses or persons who have an interest in becoming a supplier to Goldenfields Water are encouraged to make a submission on tendering or quotation opportunities.

Purchase Orders

Goldenfields Water utilises purchase orders to form an agreement with a supplier to purchase goods, materials and services.  Creation of a purchase order allows the processing of invoices, and payment to the supplier once receipt of the goods, materials or services is complete.

In most cases, a purchase order will be sent to the preferred supplier once an agreed quotation has been met.  There will be no contract or agreement between Goldenfields Water and any supplier unless a purchase order is issued.

Current Tenders

Tender 08/2020 – Oura Pump Station Civil Works

Goldenfields Water is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced Contractors to undertake the construction of a new switch room and associated civil works at the Oura pump station, which is located at Gumly Gumly Island on the northern side of the Murrumbidgee River, just east of Wagga Wagga, NSW.

At the Oura pump station, water is extracted from four bores, and treated by way of aeration, chlorination and fluoridation, before pumping to balance tanks at Junee for distribution. The power transformers, protection and control systems, and the associated power cables are 44 years old, placing them at the end of their useful lives. This Tender is for the construction of a new switch room and associated civil works to facilitate this replacement.

In brief the requirements of this tender include:
· Construction of a new switch room, including building services
· Supply and installation of a new communications tower
· Construction of numerous concrete pads for the future installation of HV equipment
· Supply and Installation of pits and conditions
· Supply and installation of earth grid
· Installation of storm water management infrastructure
· Construction of roads and
· Remediation of site once construction is complete

Note installation of the high voltage equipment will be undertaken by others, however, electrical building services is included in this scope of work.

A non-compulsory pre-tender meeting will be held at 9am on Wednesday 9 December 2020, which will outline the work, contract requirements and answer any questions Contractors have regarding tender requirements. Contractors must notify the Project Officer by email by 2pm Friday 4 December 2020 if they are attending.

Any person willing to fulfil the requirements of the proposed contract is invited to submit a tender to Goldenfields Water via Tenderlink by 2.00pm on Wednesday 27 January 2021.
