Goldenfields Water County Council (GWCC) has been recognised by Voice Project as a recipient of their Best Workplace Awards for 2020.

Voice Project’s ‘Best Workplace’ award recognises organisations that have achieved exceptional levels of employee engagement and satisfaction. It is an award that recognises strong improvement and has a highly engaged workforce.

“To receive this award is a wonderful achievement,” Goldenfields Water Chairperson Dennis Palmer said.

“It is our goal to make Goldenfields Water an employer of choice and for staff to feel supported, empowered and engaged to help drive Goldenfields Water’s operational objectives.”

“We believe our most important asset is our employees and I would like to congratulate General Manager Aaron Drenovski and the GWCC management team for demonstrating excellent management practices and supporting staff members in their learning and career development.”

On average, Goldenfields Water recorded 10.5% above the rural council benchmark in their September 2020 staff survey. Only a small number of organisations meet this criteria and Goldenfields Water is the first rural council to achieve this.
