Goldenfields Water holds roundtable with constituent councils

Following the April Council meeting last week, Goldenfields Water County Council hosted General Managers and Mayors from their seven constituent councils to discuss each of their priority areas and to present an update on the recent, current,and future projects being undertaken by Goldenfields Water.

As a county council, Goldenfields Water is a unique organisation made up of 7 LGA’s including Bland Shire, Temora Shire, Coolamon Shire, Junee Shire, Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council, Narrandera Shire and Hilltops Council.  

Goldenfields Water Chairperson Cr Matthew Stadtmiller agreed that “it was a great opportunity to engage with our key stakeholders and to provide them with an update on several of our capital works programs.

It’s essential that we continue to involve and work alongside our constituent councils to understand what each of their individual needs and priorities are.  

These discussions help our management team with the allocation of resources and forming our Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework,” said Mr Stadtmiller.

As outlined in their Community Engagement Strategy, Goldenfields Water will look to annually host these meetings to ensure each community has the opportunity to provide feedback and seek opportunities where they can work alongside Goldenfields Water for the betterment of their communities.
