World Water Day
World Water Day has been held on the 22nd of March every year since 1993, celebrating water and raising awareness of the 2 billion people living without access to safe water.
The UN developed initiative is about taking action to tackle the global water crisis. A core focus of World Water Day is to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.
This year, the theme is 'Be the change,' encouraging people to take action in their own lives to change the way they use, consume and manage water.
To help increase awareness about access to clean water and choosing sustainable options, in conjunction with World Water Day 2023, Goldenfields Water has created and supplied activity packs for classrooms to each of the Primary Schools located within our supply network.
