PLANNED WATER OUTAGE - 5pm Tuesday 20th September 2022 - 1pm Wednesday 21st September 2022

There will be a planned power outage at the Oura Water Treatment Plant from 5pm on the 20th September until 1pm on the 21st of September 2022 to cutover and energise the plants new High Voltage assets.
 
Customers located between Oura and Junee may see lower than normal water pressure; however it is not expected to cause a water outage. 
 
In preparation of a potential extended outage customers will need to: 

- Store sufficient water for your needs as well as keep all taps closed and refrain from flushing toilets during the outage.

- When the water supply is restored, check your water quality from the tap nearest to the water meter prior to use. DO NOT wash clothes until you have checked water quality. If discoloured water is detected, run your tap until the water clears. If the water doesn’t clear, notify Goldenfields Water immediately. 

PLANNED WATER OUTAGE - Wednesday 28th September, 7am - 7pm

There will be a planned water outage for customers located at Junee Reefs (these customers will receive a water outage notice in the mail) and customer located between Junee Reefs and Temora will experience low water pressure on Wednesday 28th September from 7am - 7pm. 

 

This is due to Goldenfields Water staff replacing a flow recorder for pump operations.

What customers need to do:

-Store enough water for your needs, keep all taps closed and refrain from flushing toilets during the outage.

- When water supply is restored you may temporarily experience discoloured water. Check your water quality and run the tap closest to the water meter for a few minutes before drinking or washing laundry. If discoloured water is detected, continue to run your tap until the water clears. If the water doesn’t clear, notify us immediately.
