Temora - Jellicoe Street, Grey Street & Deutcher Street

There will be a planned water outage in parts of Temora while essential water supply system works are completed.

We will be isolating parts of Jellicoe Street, Grey Street and Deutcher Street Temora which involves shutting down the water main affecting customers in certain parts of the above mentioned streets. Customers affected will receive a notice with the outage details.

What you need to do when there is upcoming planned works

  • Notify us immediately if your or any member of your household is on dialysis.
  • Store enough water for your needs, keep all taps closed and refrain from flushing toilets during the outage.
  • When water supply is restored, you may temporarily experience discoloured water. Check your water quality by running the tap closest to the water meter for a few minutes before drinking or washing laundry. If discoloured water is detected, continue to run your tap until the water clears. If the water doesn’t clear, notify us immediately.

  • Adhere with directions of onsite staff to safely access your property and comply with traffic control signage implemented.
  • When a planned outage is notified store enough water for your needs, keep all taps closed and refrain from flushing toilets during the outage.
  • When water supply is restored, you may temporarily experience discoloured water. Check your water quality by running the tap closest to the water meter for a few minutes before drinking or washing laundry. If discoloured water is detected, continue to run your tap until the water clears. If the water doesn’t clear, notify us immediately.
