National Careers Week - 16th to 22nd May 2022.
Coinciding with National Careers Week 2022, Goldenfields Water is offering students located within our constituent councils the opportunity to get a behind the scenes look into working in Local Government and the Water Industry.
Over two days, Tuesday the 17th & Wednesday the 18th of May, students from Years 9 to 12 are invited to attend one of our Open Days.
Students will enjoy a morning of informative talks on Administration, Human Resources, Engineering and WHS followed by a tour of the Goldenfields Water office, before heading to our trades workshop where a series of stations will be set up allowing students to participate first-hand in a range of skills including fitter/machinist, construction, water quality, and electrical.
A BBQ lunch will be provided for students during which time staff will be available to discuss career paths, goals, and answer students’ questions.
