Goldenfields Water advises local residents and drivers to expect minor disruptions to traffic over the coming months as pipeline construction for the West Wyalong Water Pressure Project will begin to approach the township’s Main St and residential areas.  Residents can expect these disruptions to include road conditions and traffic control.

Furthermore, Goldenfields would also like to inform the community that with the construction of the new pipeline reticulation system, parts of and/or various roads may be impacted and these roads will receive a temporary seal until the project is completed in August.

Once contractors have completed laying the townships reticulation system, Goldenfields will work alongside Bland Shire’s sealing program to fully restore all roads affected during the project.

Contractors “Killard Infrastructure” commenced work on the outskirts of town, installing pipeline along Compton Road and Cassin Street in September 2022.  The project has been progressing well on schedule and the contractors have recently commenced laying pipeline along Neeld St and will continue towards the Main Street, before turning south into Operator Street.

Goldenfields Water appreciates the patience and care being demonstrated by local residents and drivers whilst approaching these works.
