Goldenfields Water is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our Mechanical Team as an Apprentice Fitter/Machinist.

This four-year apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing nationally recognised training in fitting, machining, and metal fabrication.

We’re seeking someone with a genuine interest in metals and engineering, a practical mindset, and some experience using and maintaining hand and power tools.

Who This Is Perfect For

  • A school leaver wanting a practical, respected trade
  • Someone who enjoys working with their hands and figuring out how things work
  • Interested in metals, engineering, machinery and problem-solving
  • Comfortable using (or keen to learn) hand and power tools

No previous trade experience is required, just a genuine interest, good attitude and willingness to learn.
