Councillors Stadtmiller & Callow retain Chairperson & Deputy Chair

Goldenfields Water Board Members held their first meeting of 2024 last week to elect the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson.
The Board re-appointment Hilltops Councillor Matthew Stadtmiller as Chairperson and Junee Shire Mayor Bob Callow as Deputy Chairperson to carry out the remainder of the current local government term.
Returning Chairperson Cr Stadtmiller was honoured to remain in the role, stating he was looking forward to continuing working alongside Councillor Callow, the Board and staff for the remainder of the term.
“It’s an honour to be re-elected Chairperson of Goldenfields Water,” Cr Stadtmiller said.
“The Board and Staff take great pride in providing a quality service to their 46,000 customers across the local government areas of Bland, Temora, Junee, Coolamon and parts of Cootamundra-Gundagai, Hilltops and Narrandera.”
“We recently completed the $12.5 million West Wyalong Water Reliability Project in December 2023 and currently have several other multi-million capital work projects underway. It’s great to be apart of these projects which will expand and improve the service we provide to our community members.”
Cr Stadtmiller and Cr Callow will lead the Board for the next nine months, until the NSW Local Government elections take place on Saturday 14th September 2024.
Following the Local Government elections in September, a new board will be appointed.
