Emergency Water Outage (Coolamon)

Residents in Coolamon are being advised there is a water outage at a number of properties within the southern section of Coolamon toward Wagga Road, while essential water supply system works are completed in the area today, 23 November 2020.

Goldenfields Water will be repairing a major burst along Cowabbie Street. Unfortunately, as part of these works the water supply to a number of properties around this location will be unavailable for a period of 2-3 hours during these emergency works.

Residents are being asked to keep all taps closed and refrain from flushing toilets during the outage period. Some residents might experience temporary discoloured water issues when the water supply is restored. Residents are encouraged to check their water quality from the tap nearest to the water meter prior to use.

If discoloured water is detected, residents should run the tap until the water clears. If the water doesn’t clear, residents need to notify Goldenfields Water immediately.
